Cover Me In Eggs

When spring arrives, all the birds come out. We're lucky to have feeders and flowers that bring them close by. My favorite afternoons are those spent simply watching the birds in all their wonderful colors. Although I've never seen a bird quite like this one, I thought why not create one. Easter eggs decorate this birds body, and the background is a picnic blanket theme. Spring has finally arrived!

My summers are comprised of the sea, sand, and surf. I feel that this mixed-media collage encorporates little snippets of all those wonderful things 

Seagull in Skiathos

I've been refining my talents lately through watercolor, pottery, and collage courses. I finally entered a few pieces in a local art show, and THIS ONE SOLD!! I was inspired to create this collage by all the seagulls that we see flying around my mother's house in Greece. The color scheme is very much of the islands as well.
